Knight Rider’s Got Nothing on “My Mother The Car”

Posted on December 9, 2021

MY MOTHER, THE CAR

What happens when you go car shopping for a station wagon and you end up with a 1928 Porter touring car that is actually your reincarnated mother? You make it to the number two spot on TV Guides worse shows of all time, just behind Jerry Springer.

The show ran just one season on NBC from September 14, 1965 until April 5, 1966. A total of 30 episodes were produced by United Artists Television.

While My Mother the Car may have been a disaster in just about every way, it’s still a TV show about a vintage Car with one of my favorite actors of all time, Jerry Van Dyke. Enjoy the promo!
