Warm up the tires, have fun and happy trails down the drag strip. This is what Ford iterates with the new standard Line Lock feature for the 2015 Ford Mustang GT as demonstrated in the video below. Line Lock and Launch control will join a short list of standard ‘race features’ for the all-new 2015 Mustang GT.
You gotta love it when the manufacturer is pushing a feature to aid in drag races, of course on the track. Use of this feature, once exclusivly found on modified or drag-race-prepped vehicles, will allow you go get the rear tires up to optimal temperature for grip. Of course, some will debate as to the effect it will have with the standard street tires. We just wonder how many people are going to use this at the red lights in prep for a quick race down public streets?
